Monica Olyslagers
Monica Olyslagers is the Global Innovation Manager at iRAP, a global NGO working towards eliminating high-risk roads worldwide. In this role Monica leads CycleRAP, a risk-based approach for improving cycling and light mobility safety.
Previously, Monica held key positions in the Australian Government's transport ministry, where she had roles in shaping Australia’s mobility policies and programs. Since joining iRAP in 2015, Monica was based in Asia and in 2023 moved to The Netherlands where she continues to contribute to global efforts in advancing safe and sustainable mobility for all. Monica holds a Master's degree in Development Planning and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and the Arts.
